BTS is back in 2026 with a bang! The globally renowned K-pop boy band has just announced their Arirang World Tour, and fans (me included) are going gaga over it! Following their last Permission to Dance on Stage concert, BTS members Jin, Suga, RM, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook enlisted for their compulsory military service, and the band remained inactive for nearly 4 years. Finally, we will see all of them performing together this year. And, Seoul will host the first concert of the upcoming Arirang World Tour. ARMYs, you are in for a treat! Today, I will break down everything related to the concert, dates, as well as list things to do in Seoul while you attend the BTS Arirang World Tour.
✨ Bonus: We’ve even created an ARMY’s Seoul Guide for a 5-day BTS Concert Trip. Get it here 👇

📅 BTS Arirang World Tour Seoul Dates & Location

If you are an ARMY like me, you have likely kept up with BTS members’ solo releases in the past couple of years. However, nothing compares to seeing all seven of them on the stage together. And, lo and behold, BTS will release their fifth studio album, Arirang (2026), on March 20, 2026. In celebration of the album’s release, they will also host a comeback concert at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on March 21, 2026. And the best part? It’s free to attend and will also be live-streamed globally via major OTT platforms.
That comeback concert is just the tip of the iceberg; BTS will kick off their Arirang World Tour in Seoul. The first concert will take place at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium on April 9, 2026. It will feature a 360-degree stage setup with no designated front stage location for an immersive fan experience. The Korean boy band will perform for three days at the stadium before heading to Tokyo (April 17-18). The world tour also includes stops in Busan and 30+ cities across Europe, North America, South America, and Oceania.
- 🗓️ BTS Arirang World Tour Seoul Dates: April 9, 11, and 12, 2026
- 📍 Location: Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium
- 🕖 Time: 7 PM KST
- ⌚ Running Time: 2 hours
- 🚉 Getting There: Take the Line 3 to Daehwa Station, use Exit 3, then walk for ten minutes.
🎟️ BTS Arirang World Tour Seoul Tickets

The power of BTS remains impressive as ever, with their concerts selling out in pre-sales. All three Goyang concert dates were sold out within minutes of the ARMY membership presale on January 22-23. The presale was only opened for ARMY membership holders, yet over 100,000 fans were queuing to get their hands on tickets. The Arirang World Tour Seoul ticket prices ranged from 198,000 Won to 264,000 Won.
If you didn’t manage to get a ticket, resale options are available on platforms like StubHub, Vivid Seats, and Viagogo. However, be mindful that ticket prices are nearly 40 times their original price on these sites. Some resale tickets are priced as high as 10.37 million, nearly 39 times more than the original cost (198,000 Won). BigHit Music strictly prohibits ticket sales through unofficial channels other than BTSWorldTourOfficial, SeatGeek, and Ticketmaster.
💡 Tip: Instead of relying on speculative platforms, monitor the official BTS World Tour Arirang website and Weverse for any announcements about additional shows or potential ticket releases.

Nearly 1,000 employees work in the 19 levels occupied by HYBE. While you can’t enter the building, you can take selfies in front of it. You may even get lucky and spot your favorite idols here!

Look back to BTS’s early days at the Old Big Hit Entertainment Building in Gangnam. Although not as grand as the current HYBE headquarters, this building reflects BTS’s hardships and struggles to achieve their current status. This was where our 7 members began their journey to becoming K-pop idols more than ten years ago. If you are a long-time ARMY, you know how challenging it was for the group to even perform on music stages, let alone go on world tours. This building connects fans to BTS’s humble beginnings and showcases how far they have come.

Whether you are an ARMY or not, you must add the K-Star Road to your Seoul Itinerary. Hundreds of K-pop fans visit this busy shopping avenue to see Gangnamdols of their favorite idols. And, yes, this includes a bear-shaped statue dedicated to BTS; you will see it near the Cartier store on the K-Star Road. Other must-see bear dolls are from EXO, SHINee, VIXX, and SNSD. Walk from the western side of Galeria Apgujeong to the SM Entertainment Headquarters to see all 18 Gangnamdols on this street. It only takes 30 to 60 minutes to walk leisurely while taking pictures.

The National Museum of Korea is a must-visit for anyone traveling to Seoul. The sixth largest museum in the world, NMK offers a glimpse into over 5,000 years of Korean art, history, and culture. Its gigantic collection includes over 310,000 pieces of cultural artifacts, paintings, statues, craftworks, sculptures, and literary works. It is also an ARMY pilgrimage, where BTS and NMK have collaborated multiple times. They released the “Dalmajung” series back in 2021, and further launched “Dalmajung BTS X MU:DS” in 2024. The Pensive Bodhisattva, moon jars, and celadon porcelain are highly sought-after pieces from that collection. Not just that, BTS gave the “Dear Class of 2020” speech and even had their “Boys With Luv” performance here.

Did you know there is a bench dedicated to RM in Seoul? ARMYs went all the way to celebrate our leader-nim’s mixtape’s 4th anniversary. The two-seater bench has lyrics of RM’s “I Believe” and “Moonchild” songs engraved. You can spot the bench in the Culture & Art Park at the entrance to the Gingko Tree Forest. Rest on the bench, snap a selfie, and enjoy the park’s serene atmosphere. Oh, and before I forget, the J-Hope Bench Garden has been set as a special tribute to J-Hope in Seoul Forest Park. It is near the central pond and the children’s water playground. You will easily spot the ‘J-Bench,’ thanks to its quirky ‘J’ symbol and vibrant yellow color.

For a full BTS-themed experience, explore nearby benches dedicated to Jin, Suga, V, Jimin, and Jungkook.
💡 If you are a nature lover like RM, visit RM Forest No. 1 in Jamsil Hangang Park and RM Forest No. 2 on the Inchon side of Han River Park.
🖼️ Stop By RM’s Favorite Leeum Samsung Museum of Art

- Social Media: Official Website, Official Facebook
Continue your RM expedition to Samsung’s Leeum Museum of Art in Hannam-dong. Our leader-nim has frequently shared about the museum on his Instagram. One of three private museums in South Korea, Leeum is renowned for its traditional and contemporary works. The museum’s M1 section houses 36 national treasures, including Celadon, crowns, 14th-century daggers, and Buddhist art. The M2 section is a heaven for modern and contemporary works by Damien Hirst, Yves Klein, Andy Warhol, and more.
🌟 Tip: Visit another RM-favorite museum, MMCA Seoul, where you can also buy RM merchandise.
⌚ Step Back In Time At Yeji-dong Watch Alley

- Address: 81 Changgyeonggung-ro, Jongno-gu, Seoul; Google Map
- Opening Hours: 10 AM – 10 PM
- Getting There: Take the Line 2 or 5 to the Eulrijo 4(sa)-ga Station, use Exit 3, then walk toward the alley.
It feels like I have created a list for RM fans; here’s another RM-related destination to add to your Seoul trip. Watch Alley in Yeji-dong is where time appears to have stopped between hundreds of watches. This was where RM filmed his scenes for the 2021 Season’s Greetings. In the preview video, Namjoon passes by a showcase of watches in this very location. Recreate that scene on this alley, stop to admire shiny watches, and buy one if it catches your eye.
👘 Dress In Hanbok At Gyeongbokgung Palace

- Address: 161 Sajik-ro, Jongno District, Seoul, South Korea; Google Map
- Opening Hours: Wed-Mon: 9 AM – 6 PM, Tuesday: Closed
- Getting There: Take the Line 3 to the Gyeongbokgung Station, use Exit 5.
- Admission Fee: 3,000 KRW
- Social Media: Official Website
You can’t miss Seoul’s palaces, especially the Gyeongbokgung Palace. Built during the Joseon dynasty, this royal palace is the most beautiful among Seoul’s five palaces. Its magnificent architecture, rich cultural heritage, and the fascinating “Changing of the Guard Ceremony” are the highlights to look out for. And for ARMYs, this was the place where BTS filmed their “IDOL” performance for the Jimmy Fallon Show in 2020. If time allows, film yourself dancing to IDOL inside Gyeongbokgung Palace. 💡 Tip: Wear a Hanbok to get free entry to the palace.

🛍️ Shop For BTS Merch In Myeongdong

- Address: 명동 Jung District, Seoul, South Korea; Google Map
- Myeongdong Shopping Street Opening Hours: 9 AM – 5 PM
Shopper girlies! It’s time to stock up on your K-pop and K-beauty products in Myeongdong. This bustling shopping area is packed with luxury department stores, international fashion brands, and homegrown cosmetics shops. It also features many stores dedicated to selling BTS merchandise. One such place is Line Friends Square, a two-floor shop in the heart of Myeongdong. It sells BT21 merchandise from the BT21 Universe. All members designed these characters based on their personality and style (my favorite is Chimmy). If you want to purchase exclusive BTS merch, head to Space of BTS on the 11th floor of the Shinsegae Duty Free Myeongdong. You can even find limited edition & sold-out BTS merch here, as well as get discounts.
🚇 Getting There:
- Line Friends Square: Take the Ring Line to Euljiro 1-ga Station, use Exit 5 or 7, then walk towards the store.
- Space of BTS: Take the Subway Line 4 to Hoehyeon Station, use Exit 7, then walk towards the Shinsegae Duty Free Myeongdong.
💡 After a shopping spree, relax with a spa or massage.
🛖 Travel To Korean Folk Village

- Address: 90 Minsokchon-ro, Giheung-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea; Google Map
- Opening Hours: 10 AM – 6 PM
- Admission Fee: 37,000 Won
- Getting There: Take the Sinbundang Line to Gangnam Station, use Exit 5.
- Social Media: Official Website, Official Instagram
If I have to pick my favorite Run BTS episode, it will be the “BTS Village in Joseon Dynasty.” This three-part segment was released in Episodes 145, 146, and 147, where BTS members dressed in traditional hanbok and worked through clues to recover the missing piece of the ARMY bomb. And, if you are a fan of Run BTS like me, don’t miss the Korean Folk Village, where the filming took place. Located just outside Seoul, this living museum takes visitors back to the Joseon era with its 270 authentic houses relocated and restored from different parts of South Korea. The houses are restored in a way to showcase what daily life was like during the Joseon era. In addition to Run BTS, Korean Folk Village has been a set for many K-dramas, including Moon Embracing the Sun, Dong Yi, and My Love from the Star.

🕺 Take A K-Pop Dance Class

- Duration: 1.5 to 2 hours
- Price: From $44.97 on TourTeller
I can’t think of anything better to list for things to do in Seoul during the BTS Arirang World Tour. K-pop dance classes are a must for K-pop lovers. These classes typically last 1.5 to 2 hours and include a private or group session with a professional trainer. They also include video recording and editing for personal use. It’s better to book private classes where you can request songs and learn choreos that match your skill level. Group classes can have as many as 20 participants, and may make you feel left out or self-conscious. You will find many private studios and dance classes in Gangnam. 💡 Tip: Compare prices and inclusions for Seoul dance classes on TourTeller before reserving your seat.
🌉 Cross The Iconic Dongjak Bridge

- Address: 386 Ichon-dong, Yongsan District, Seoul, South Korea; Google Map
- Opening Hours: 24 hours
One of the best things about BTS is that they promote their motherland wholeheartedly through any means possible. This is more apparent in their MVs, where they have featured many places in Korea. One such feature was the iconic Dongjak Bridge, a highly popular bridge over the Han River. It was the filming location for V’s photo teaser for Love Yourself: Her. Recreate the V’s photoshoot when you travel to Seoul at the Dongjak Bridge. It is a must-visit, especially during sunrise and sunset when people come to catch a sight of the sun over the Han River. 🫨 Did you know: The Han River in the Nodeul Island was the filming location for the Butter MV?
✨ Bonus: Head to Dongho Bridge, where J-Hope’s scenes from I Need You MV were filmed.
📖 Check Out The Daeo Bookstore

- Address: 55 Jahamun-ro 7-gil, Jongno District, Seoul, South Korea; Google Map
- Opening Hours: 12 PM – 8 PM
- Getting There: Take the Line 3 to Gyeongbokgung Station, use Exit 2, then walk for 5 minutes to the bookstore.
- Social Media: Official Website, Official Facebook
I am a huge bookworm just like our leader-nim. If you share the same love for reading and books as I do, visit RM’s favorite Daeo Bookstore during your trip to Seoul. Tucked in the quaint neighborhood of Seochon Village, this cozy bookstore is the oldest second-hand bookstore in Seoul, which has been running since 1951. It still has the old Seoul charm with its traditional hanok-style architecture and old shelves with books filled to the brim. It’s basically a paradise for book lovers, and it’s no wonder RM visited this place twice. It currently operates as a bookstore-cum-cafe, so you can read books with a hot or cold drink.
😻 Check Out Sungnyemun Square

- Address: 29 Namdaemunno 4(sa)-ga, Jung District, Seoul, South Korea; Google Map
- Opening Hours: 24 hours
- Getting There: Take the Line 3 to the Namdaemun Station, use Exit 3, then walk towards the square.
I can’t forget to add Sungyemun Square while listing things to do in Seoul for ARMYs. It is located right in front of Sungnyemun Gate (Namdaemun), Seoul’s National Treasure No. 1. It was here where BTS filmed their 2021 Global Citizen Live opening performance. Another must-know fact about Sungyemun Square is it is adjacent to Gwanghwamun Square, where BTS is set to perform their free comeback concert on March 21, 2026. This is also the first time a single K-pop group has been granted exclusive use of the square for a live performance.
⛲ Take A Walk In Banpo Hangang Park

- Address: 40 Sinbanpo-ro 11-gil, Seocho District, Seoul, South Korea; Google Map
- Opening Hours: 24 hours
- Getting There: Take the Line 2 to Banpo Station, use Exit 3 or 4, then walk for 10 minutes along Sinbanpo-ro toward the Han River.
- Social Media: Official Website
Finally, I recommend Banpo Hangang Park for things to do in Seoul during the BTS Arirang World Tour. This beloved park is a hangout spot for locals and tourists alike, where you can escape from Seoul’s hustle and bustle. Given its popularity, it’s no wonder the park was featured in the first segment of the BTS’ Life In Seoul video. The promotional clip by Visit Seoul, it featured BTS members exploring various areas in Seoul and letting audiences know what they can do when they visit South Korea’s capital. The starting point was Banpo Hangang Park, followed by Seoullo 7017, Water Sports Club, Gangnam-gu Hotel, Korean BBQ House, and Jamsil Stadium. 💡 Tip: Have a picnic in Banpo Hangang Park in the late afternoon.
😋 BTS Approved Restaurants In Seoul
Yoojung Sikdang 유정식당

- Address: 14 Dosan-daero 28-gil, Gangnam District, Seoul, South Korea; Google Map
- Opening Hours: 10 AM – 9:30 PM
- Getting There: Take the Line 3 to Sinsa Station, use Exit 1, then hike up to the restaurant for 15 minutes.
- Social Media: Official Instagram
The legendary Yoojung Sikdang has been the BTS-approved restaurant since their pre-debut days. Members regularly ate in this restaurant when they were training to debut as K-pop idols in the early 2010s. And, the restaurant is as good as shared by our boys. It still serves the same homestyle cooking and features the group’s favorite dishes on its menu. Sit where BTS once sat and experience the ‘pre-fame’ BTS feel as you eat in this establishment. Must-try dishes include Bangtan Bibimbap (Black Pork Stone Bibimbap), Budae Jigae (Army Stew), Stir-fried Marinated Spicy Pork, and Jeju Black Pork. Yoojung Sikdang also features many BTS posters, banners, signatures, stickers, newspaper clippings, and other memorabilia on its walls.
🍣 Ossu Seiromushi (Owned by Jin)

- Address: 23-7 Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo District, Seoul, South Korea; Google Map
- Opening Hours: 11:30 AM – 9 PM
- Getting There: Take the Line 5 to Yeouido Station, use Exit 5 or 6, then walk towards the restaurant.
- Social Media: Official Instagram
We all know Jin is a huge foodie; however, not many know that the man has even turned his love for food into a business. Back in 2018, Jin and his older brother opened Ossu Seiromushi, a Japanese restaurant in Jamsil. If you love Japanese food, Ossu Seiromushi’s sashimi is a must-have. The establishment specializes in traditional Japanese cuisine served in wooden steamers, seiro-mushi style. Its hinoki cypress steamed dishes, seafood, and sushi are highly praised for their flavors. While the original location is closed, you can still visit Ossu Seiromushi’s Yeouido branch.
🍤 Geujib

- Address: 46 Gangnam-daero 34-gil, Seocho-gu, Seoul; Google Map
- Opening Hours: Mon-Fri: 11:30 AM – 10 PM, Sat: 3:30-10 PM, Sun: 5-9 PM
If Geujib sounds familiar, you are not alone. The restaurant was the location for BTS’s fifth anniversary in 2018. The group filmed the 2018 BTS FESTA here, where they celebrated their 5th anniversary and talked about what they wanted to do together. P.S. My favorite moment from the video is when Suga said, “I Love You,” to Jimin. Keeping that aside, Geujib has become a fan-favorite restaurant among ARMYs for a while now. Its cozy interior, home-style Korean dishes, and quiet ambiance make it stand out. Try Geujib’s signature dishes: carbonara tteokbokki and bee hive cream shrimp.

- Opening Hours: 9 AM – 9:30 PM
- Getting There: Take the Line 7 to Hakdong Station, use Exit 4, then walk towards the cafe.
- Social Media: Official Instagram
Let’s travel back to BTS’s pre-debut days at Hyuga. It was once the dorm for our Bangtan boys before retaining its current status as a creative hub that blends coffee, art, and community. The cafe has a gallery-style atmosphere where you can relax with a coffee and desserts. Rest where BTS once lived and dreamt of making it big in the K-pop world. If you are an old ARMY like me, you will definitely love Hyuga’s nostalgic charm.

- Opening Hours: 6 AM – 9 PM
- Getting There: Take the Line 2 or 3 to the Euljiro 3-ga Station, then walk to Eulji-ro.
Continue your cafe hopping to Eulji Dabang. It is another must-visit zone for ARMY traveling to Seoul. Located on the 2nd floor of 124-1 Eulji-ro, this coffee store’s origin dates back to 1985. While a known name among locals, Eulji Dabang gained popularity after BTS’s retro photoshoot for the 2021 Season’s Greetings. They also filmed scenes where they were seen having fun and taking their seats at a table next to a window. V was even seen drinking the cafe’s “Ssangwhacha.” If you are not a coffee guy like V, try this herbal drink during your visit.
🍦 Cafe Far Ben (Owned by RM’s Sister)

- Address: 65 Seongsui-ro, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, South Korea; Google Map
- Opening Hours: 10 AM – 9 PM
- Getting There: Take the Subway Line 2 to Seongsu Station, use Exit 4, then walk towards the cafe.
- Social Media: Official Instagram
This one was new for me. Cafe Far Ben is another BTS-approved establishment, opened by RM’s younger sister. It is in the heart of the vibrant Seongsu neighborhood. This cozy cafe is a work of art with its thoughtfully planned interior and decorative elements, including plants, paintings, and a unique book fair poster. It is also highly praised for its menu, which features homemade goodies, from Greek yogurt to orange juice, rhubarb strawberry jam, and Amaretto fig ice cream. Don’t forget to try their matcha, which is one of the best in the neighborhood.
