As I just mentioned, Mohamed Ahmed serves traditional food so it’s only normal to eat fuul and falafel there. Fuul and falafel are traditional Egyptian food that deserves trying it! Additional information, the beans used in making fuul are fava beans.
Not only does Mohamed Ahmed serve fuul and falafel but there are many traditional food items on the menu! You can try roasted eggplant, tahini, baba ganoush, and pickled vegetables; amazing right?

The restaurant I’m talking about is one of the most famous seafood restaurants in Alexandria, Egypt. You won’t even need to guess what it serves, which is seafood because its name is the Fish Market.
Be prepared to eat some of the best seafood that you will ever experience; especially in Alexandria. The Mediterranean sea allows any seafood restaurant, including the Fish Market, to always have fresh fish.
Not only is the food great, but the view will seal the deal for you! Just like the Greek Club, the Fish Market offers a great view along with its amazing dishes. Try to sit at a table by a window so that you can enjoy viewing the Citadel of Qaitbay.

In fact, if you just said the word Balbaa you will find everyone in Alexandria recognizing the restaurant from only this one word. That’s how famous Balbaa Village is!
Like Mohamed Ahmed, Balbaa Village is considered a historical restaurant in Alexandria. It has been working since 1980 and it hasn’t stopped since. The menu has many items you can pick from, so it won’t be hard to find many things you want to try.
Along with offering different kinds of grilled meat, Balbaa Village also offers grilled fish; at this point, we can call Alexandria the city of both seafood and meat dishes.
