Tenerife’s diving scene is quite international. We found options offered in 8 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Dutch, Polish, Italian, and Russian. This wide linguistic coverage means you can likely find a dive instructor who speaks your native tongue, making the pre-dive briefing and underwater communication clearer.

Sessions usually take between 2.2 and 5 hours, with a median duration of about 3 hours. This timeframe typically covers the brief training session, equipment fitting, boat transfer, the dive itself, and post-dive debrief. If you have a tight schedule, look for listings closer to the 2-hour mark, but be aware that shorter durations may limit the depth or number of dives included.
