The options we compare across booking platforms generally fall within a $46–$104 price band, with a median cost of around $70. While you may see listings ranging from $30 to $189 depending on the level of service and inclusions, most travellers will find solid choices in that central range. Prices vary based on whether the tour includes private transport, meals, or premium equipment.

Inclusions vary significantly by provider, but here is what you can typically expect:

• Guides: About half of the options include an expert guide.
• Equipment: Roughly 37% of tours provide telescopes and other astronomy gear.
• Refreshments: A smaller share (around 13%) includes drinks, while roughly 11% offer meals.
• Photos: Some operators include professional photos, though this is less common.

If having your own telescope is important, check the description carefully as nearly two-thirds of tours do not provide equipment.

Duration varies widely depending on whether the experience is just the stargazing session or includes travel and sunset viewing. The typical span is 1.5 to 8 hours, with a median duration of about 4 hours. Shorter tours often focus strictly on the night sky observation, while longer packages may combine a sunset sightseeing component with the astronomical viewing.
