Head straight to the eastern end of the Great Ocean Road and start our journey along the coastal road. Arrive and visit attractions of the Great Ocean Road, the "Little Red Riding Hood" lighthouse and the bizarre "Eagle's Beak Rock" (~30 mins) Take photos at the historic Memorial Arch at Eastern View, which marks the starting point of the Great Ocean Road. (~15 mins) Passing through the town of Lorne, the town has fine beaches that make it a gathering place for surfers. Arriving at the town of Kennett, the tour guide will take you to the edge of the wild koala habitat to find wild koalas, which can be seen in most sunny weather. (~20 mins) Have lunch in the coastal town of Apollo Bay (own expense). (1 hr) After lunch, pass through the Great Otway National Park. Go to the main attraction of the day [12 Apostles] Arrive at Port Campbell National Park and see the famous 12 Apostles. Enjoy the unique view from the viewing platform. (About 45 minutes) Walk around Loch Ard Gorge and listen to the introduction of shipwreck history, geology and coastal ecology. In 1878, the British immigrant ship Loch Ard crashed into Muttonbird Island here, and only two young people survived. (About 30 minutes) Finally, we will return to Melbourne via the inland road, passing through several rural towns along the way. Arriving in downtown Melbourne, the tour ends.
