Compare Top Valle de la Luna Tours

When comparing the 77 tour options we track across booking platforms, most travelers pay between $51 and $75, with a median price of $58. While the typical spread ranges from around $43 to $335, you can generally find solid value in that mid-range band. Prices vary based on inclusions like hotel pickup or private guides, but the majority of listings cluster near the median.

Inclusions vary significantly depending on whether you choose a basic entry ticket or a full guided experience. Based on our data, here is what is commonly included:

• Guide: Included in roughly half of the options (43%)
• Drinks: Provided by about one-fifth of tours (21%)
• Hotel Pickup/Drop-off: Available in a small minority (9%)
• Entry Ticket: Sometimes bundled, though often sold separately (8%)
• Meals: Rarely included (8%)

Most standard sightseeing tours focus on the guide and scenery, while add-ons like transport and refreshments are less common.

The median duration for these experiences is 4.5 hours, with most tours falling between 4 and 5 hours. This allows enough time for a comprehensive sightseeing walk through the lunar landscape without requiring a full-day commitment. If you see a listing marked as a "Sunset Tour," note that these may have slightly different timing to capture the best light, but they generally fit within this window.

Yes, but they are a niche offering. Out of the 77 options we compare, only 5 (6%) are classified as private tours. The vast majority (87%) are guided group tours, which are ideal for solo travelers or couples who don't mind sharing a vehicle or walking group. Private tours tend to sit at the higher end of the price spectrum ($335 range) compared to the group average.

You will find good coverage in major European and American languages. The options we compare are offered in 6 languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, and German. Since 92% of the tours are categorized as Sightseeing Tours, English and Spanish guides are widely available, making it easy to find a comfortable language match for most international travelers.

Movement is primarily on foot. Walking is the most common mode of transport, featured in 42% of the options we track. This makes sense given the compact nature of the valley's main viewpoints. Other methods include:

• Bus: Used in 16% of tours, usually for longer transfers to remote spots
• Car: Available in 9% of options, often for private or faster-paced itineraries
• Bike: A rare option, found in only 3% of tours

If you prefer not to walk extensively, look for tours that specify bus or car transport, though be aware these are less common.

While only 1% of options are currently flagged as likely to sell out, the high volume of positive feedback suggests popular slots fill up quickly.
