Puritama Hot Springs Tours & Visits

The options we compare across booking platforms generally fall between $39 and $133, with most tours priced in the $53–$88 range. The median price sits at around $72, though you may find some budget-friendly entry points or premium private experiences outside that band.

Most tours last between 4.5 and 5 hours. This duration usually accounts for travel time from San Pedro de Atacama, the hot spring visit itself, and return transport, giving you ample time to soak without rushing back.

Yes. We compare options offered in 5 languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and French. While roughly half of the tours include a guide, those that do are generally equipped to support these major language groups.

The most common inclusions vary by operator, but here is what you will typically find among the top-rated options:

• Hotel pickup and drop-off (offered by about 15% of listings)
• Transportation (included in roughly 15% of tours)
• Entry tickets (covered in 25% of options)
• A local guide (provided in 30% of tours)

Many travellers book standalone entry tickets and arrange their own transport to save costs, while others prefer the convenience of an all-inclusive package.

It depends on your comfort level with independent travel. Since only 25% of options include entry tickets and 15% include transport, many basic listings are essentially guided sightseeing trips where you handle logistics separately. However, if you value convenience, a guided tour ensures you have reliable transport and expert commentary on the geothermal features, which reviewers frequently describe as "hermoso lugar" (beautiful place) and "fantastic." For first-time visitors, the guided experience often provides better context for the landscape.

Flexibility is widely available. Roughly 45% of the options we compare (9 out of 20) offer free cancellation. Additionally, about 40% provide instant confirmation, making it easy to secure your spot last minute if plans change.

With an average rating of 4.0★ across 92 pooled reviews, sentiment is largely positive. Travellers consistently highlight the natural beauty, using phrases like "muito lindo" (very beautiful) and describing the springs as a "paradise itself" for relaxation. The overwhelming majority of feedback focuses on the serene nature of the site and the quality of the soak, with very few negative comments regarding the core experience.
