Drive over the Golden Gate Bridge to beautiful Marin County. Stop at Golden Gate Bridge overlook. Then onward to the Muir Woods National Monument home of the giant redwood trees. Your visit inside the park is self-guided. Your guide will pick you up at the agreed-upon time. Time inside the park is generally 45 minutes to 1 hour. Time permitting stop at Muir Beach overlook on the Pacific Ocean. Stop in the bayside town of Sausalito. Our Jeeps fit up to 4 adults and 2 children. The 3rd row seating is perfect for children and teens.

On the way to the wineries, you will hear about the history of San Francisco and California, as well as about the wine industry in Sonoma and Napa. On your way, you will see St. Quintin, the Mission San Rafael, and Marin County Civic Center building by Frank Lloyd Wright. We will visit 2 wineries in Sonoma. Both tastings are included. After the tastings, or in between the first and second tastings, we will visit Sonoma Plaza, the largest public square in California, ex northernmost point of Mexico, home of the last 21st Californian Mission and about 40 different restaurants.

This is a self guided audio tour of San Anselmo, a unique town nestled in the heart of Marin County. Originally called Junction due to the meeting of several railroad lines, the town slowly grew from a few ranch houses and farms to the vibrant community we see today. You'll learn about some of our early residents, and about the influences the railroad and the San Francisco earthquake had on the growth and development of our town. By the end, we hope you will have a better appreciation of why our residents truly treasure living in this community.

Learn the ancient skills of survival in the woods, including how to build a shelter, gather water, make a fire, and forage edible plants or set up traps for food. Both novice campers and seasoned backpackers will benefit from hands-on activities during this 5-hour class with a naturalist instructor. The session takes place in a redwood forest of Marin County, located north of San Francisco.
