Enjoy a shuttle transfer from Queenstown to our Arrow Junction start point. Here we cover mountain bike fitting, navigation, bike safety and very importantly: winery information. Get straight into your pre-wine warm up! Ride 5kms along the beautiful Arrow and Kawarau Rivers to the Kawarau Suspension Bridge – home of the world famous Bungy jump. From Bungy spend the afternoon biking at your leisure along the Gibbston River Trail, using our informative winery map to visit as many of the cellar doors linked throughout this easy riding trail. Enjoy a relaxed lunch en-route or picnic at one of the many wineries. We will pick you up at 4:30 pm from the Gibbston Tavern (or another pre-arranged point in the valley) for your relaxing shuttle transfer back to Queenstown. Great food and wine are something you better not miss on your visit here. This valley is home to some of the most well-known wineries. Enjoy some of the best cheeseries on your journey or explore some cellar doors for a tasting. What to Expect On Your Guided Tour In the morning, we depart from Queenstown and take a scenic shuttle transfer to Arrowtown, a small gold mining town. Explore the trails with a mountain bike at your own pace. Everything from fitting, bike safety, navigation, and winery information; all are made available. Take a leisurely ride along the Arrow and Kawarau Rivers to the world-famous Kawarau Suspension Bridge or buy your tickets online to see the famous Bungy jump on the Kawarau Suspension Bridge. There are many great cafes in Arrowtown as well as opportunities to explore the town. You will be in Gibbston wine country after leaving Bungy. Visit 7 wineries, a cheesery, a tavern, and a microbrewery in the valley at your leisure, eating cheese and tasting wines. Biking distances vary between 9.5 and 13.75 miles (15kms to 22kms). There are no crossroads between wineries; all trails are off-road and easy to moderate grades. Choose the soak in the scenery either on a full-day tour or a half-day tour and you may also upgrade to ride an electric bike.

The Lake Dunstan Trail has you cycling through unique and fascinating landscapes of Central Otago, while following Lake Dunstan, the Kawarau River and the mighty Clutha River - linking townships Clyde to Cromwell on an awesome 1-day adventure. Your adventure starts at our Cromwell depot, arriving about 8.30am for a briefing and bike fitting prior to taking our shuttle to Clyde departing at 9.15am. Upon arrival you may wish to enjoy a coffee at one of the many café/restaurants in the Clyde Heritage Precinct prior to starting your adventure. We operate this adventure both ways, but we like this option as you are cycling on the inside of the trail (safer side) and you can cycle to Carrick Winery just in time to enjoy lunch and a glass of wine about 1pm, hence why we suggest this direction.
