Time of tour: 3 1/2 hours approx. Available all year long. Description: Meet and greet at Punta Arenas Pier, and depart south towards Fort Bulnes. This historical site is recognized as the first settlement in the southern zone of Chile. It was founded in 1843 in a strategic point for the defense of the population, and as a result of this it was decided to found later Punta Arenas in 1848 for settlement. For the centenary of the birth of Bulnes, this site was rebuilt and reopened as a museum. The tour extends throughout this historic place where there will be free time to take photographs and discover details of his legacy. At the end of the tour, return to the city of Punta Arenas, directly to the pier to board your cruise.

Through this tour we will meet Fort Bulnes, a fort built in 1843 during the government of Don Manuel Bulnes, later abandoned and rebuilt between 1941 and 1943. This fort has become a obligatory walk, since it was the first Chilean settlement of the terrirorio and gave rise to the foundation of Punta Arenas.
