One of the most popular activities in Baunei is trekking to Cala Luna, a beautiful beach located in the territories of Dorgali. The trek to Cala Luna is a relatively easy hike that takes about two and a half hours to complete, and it offers breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and coastline. The trail starts in the village of Cala Gonone, which can be reached by car or bus from Baunei. The first part of the trail follows a paved road that leads to the entrance of the Selvaggio Blu trekking route. After about half an hour of walking, the road turns into a dirt path that winds its way through the hills and valleys of the Supramonte mountain range.
