Wengen is a lovely car-free mountain town at 1274m (4 180ft). It's located on a big cliff between Lauterbrunnen and Männlichen so the views are just stunning. Me and my little dog friend would like to take you to the most charming part of town. This is where the first residents of Wengen settled, now a small habitat of a few farms. This place will show us the true beauty of the Swiss countryside full of cheeses from local farmers and variety of animals. Along the way, we will see beautiful views of the famous Jungfrau, Mürren, Schiltorn (place of James Bond movie production) and the Lauterbrunnen valley literally all the time. However, views are not everything - we will pass a local farm, where we will have opportunity to buy ice cream, cheese and cold cuts directly from the farmer. Prepare some cash for this occasion. There are various animals on the farm, such as donkeys, llamas, alpacas, goats and, of course, cows grazing along our trail. *If you wish my dog friend can stay home

As a local tour guide I would like to show you a magical and thrilling 1.5 hour hike above Wengen. It's offering breathtaking views of Jungfrau and Silberhorn in sunset time. Our destination is a scenic point where we'll prepare real homemade Cheese Fondue surranded by the alpine beauty. It's worth mentioning that the cheese fondue served in restaurants is not homemade, but unfortunately only heated from ready-made cheese mixes. After a picturesque dinner against the backdrop of a sunset casting golden hues on the 4,000-meter peaks, we'll descend back to Wengen, soaking in the enchanting vistas. Set off from deep in the valley of Lauterbrunnen, with sheer cliff faces facing you on either side and snow-capped peaks not far off on the horizon. You'll pass rolling hills and cross raging rivers on your trip that just keeps on climbing. Snow will start to appear as you get closer to the 3,500-meter-high destination, the alpine station of Jungfraujoch, nestled inside a mountain. The Top of Europe has shopping, snow sports, and even art made of ice. There's also the opportunity to step onto Aletsch Glacier, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site!
