Witness the pristine waters, stunning coastline and marine animals that inhabit this thriving environment. Our skipper provides informative commentary as you cruise along. Marine species that may be seen on the day can include bottlenose and common dolphins, white-bellied sea eagles, long-nosed seals, australian sea lions, southern right and humpback whales (during the colder months) and more. This is a must-do activity while you are on the island with safari's departing daily. Suitable for all ages. Please note - If you arrive on a cruise ship and cannot get into Penneshaw on your tender on the day your tour can be cancelled (and you claim costs on your travel insurance) or we can hold it for you for use within a 3 year timeframe.

2 Hour Swim nearby Dolphin / Seal & Coastal Snorkeling Safari departs from Christmas Cove Marina, Penneshaw. Have the opportunity to swim nearby wild dolphins or seals and snorkel some of KI’s beautiful coastline.  It's a great wildlife watching tour! We provide wetsuits, mask, towels, snorkel, and fins. Arrive at Christmas Cove Marina in Penneshaw 30 minutes prior to departure. You will be fitted into the appropriately sized wetsuit, mask, snorkel, and flippers as well as be provided with a safety brief. Then jump on board our 28 seater vessel in search of the marine life that inhabits the stunning coastline. Seals often become very active which provides a unique snorkeling experience. We are the only operator in South Australia that provides the opportunity to swim nearby the Long-Nosed Seals. Also, have the opportunity to swim alongside dolphins in the wild. The guide will also provide an informative commentary along the way.

After getting in some great views and history you’ll get to sit and relax and try some delightful local wines as you learn about local wineries within Kangaroo Island and the Fleurieu Peninsula. A tour rich in local history, amazing views and endless photo-op opportunities, all within half a days journey there and back again from Penneshaw!

Immerse yourself in a day of Australian wildlife, gorgeous scenery, and some of Kangaroo Island’s most iconic nature locations. Firstly visit Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery and enjoy a light morning break while keeping an eye out for the local Emu mob. Head in to the iconic Flinders Chase National Park. The parks must-see sights include Admiral’s Arch, a beautiful natural rock arch shaped by the powerful Southern Ocean, and the sculptured granite boulders known as Remarkable Rocks. Lunch is at the gorgeous Vivonne Bay, voted one of Australia’s top beaches. Next stop on this day of wildlife and sights is the Kangaroo Island Raptor Domain.
