Indulge in a morning tea break (at your own expense) at Strathalbyn, dubbed the 'Antique Capital of South Australia', and stroll around the charming antique stores and marketplaces. A day of beaches, whales & vineyards Continue through the Currency Creek wine region to the old river port of Goolwa, before reaching the coastal village of Port Elliot, offering great photo opportunities at Horseshoe Bay. At Victor Harbor, one of South Australia's favored seaside towns, experience the world's only horse-drawn tramway that operates on a daily timetable across a causeway in the surf. Your lunch break (at own expense) can be accompanied by a visit to Granite Island famous for large granite boulders and stunning coastal views or take a Seal Island cruise and observe Australian sea lions in their natural habitat. The tour concludes with a drive through the rolling vineyards of the McLaren Vale, one of Australia's oldest grape-growing regions, and a stunning coastal panorama of Adelaide's southern beaches.
