You can fly directly from Delhi to Khajuraho airport in about 2 hours, or take a train to Jhansi and drive 4 hours. Flights are most convenient for most travelers.

Modest clothing is recommended. Avoid shorts and sleeveless tops. Remove shoes before entering inner sanctums. Some temples may have specific restrictions during rituals.

Two to three days is ideal. Day 1 covers western temples, Day 2 eastern temples, and Day 3 for southern temples and museums. One day is too rushed.
