[FOR UP TO 7 PASSENGERS, private tour, includes Waimea Canyon State Park Fees] This tour starts by heading directly to the Waimea Canyon on the west side. On the way there, we will stop to stretch our legs and take a look at the Hanapepe Valley overlook. At Waimea town, we will begin our ascent into the canyon. We will stop at about 1800 feet for our first view, stop at a miniature waterfall for pictures, take a short walk on a nature trail with native Hawaiian plants where you can stand at the very edge of the canyon, and then on to the main canyon viewing area. From there we will head to the top stopping to see the Waipo'o Falls on the way. At the very top we will view two different vantage points of the Kalalau Valley from 4700 feet down to the ocean. On the way back down, listen to a historical tale about the Kalalau Valley. Lunch. Then to the south side for Spouting Horn and Poipu Beach where we will be on the lookout for turtles and the Hawaiian monk seals.

This is a private sightseeing tour for groups of up to 5 adults and one small child max. Our vehicle is a 2022 silver Honda Odyssey. The Kauai Highlights is a small group tour lead by a local family business. Available only on Thursdays. We will take you on a ride to enjoy some of the best highlights of Kauai’s south and west. Kick back and relax in our comfortable air condition vans while we show you the power and beauty of nature, and share amazing stories about the history, culture and geology of the islands. Included on this tour are several stops at the famous Waimea Canyon, the Spouting Horn, charming Hanapepe town and its swinging bridge, Waimea Bay; one of our only black sand beaches where Captain Cook first landed in Hawaii, and the Kauai Coffee co. A full day filled with beautiful sites, ample time to take in the views , snap great pictures, tasting locally made foods, and shopping local.
