Across the 12 tour options we compare, prices typically range from $151 to $390, with a median of $364. The full spread can extend from around $30 to $820 depending on group size and inclusions. For travellers seeking value, Sightseeing Tours average $265 while maintaining a high rating of 4.59★, making them a strong choice for budget-conscious visitors.

Most experiences last between 6 and 10 hours, with the median duration sitting at 10 hours. This allows ample time to explore both Kamakura's historic temples and Yokohama's vibrant waterfront without rushing.

The vast majority are private experiences. Specifically, 10 out of 12 options (roughly 83%) are tagged as Private Tours. This format ensures a personalised itinerary and direct interaction with your guide, which aligns with the high praise reviewers give for 'wonderful guides' and 'experienced' leadership.

Guides offer support in four languages: English, Japanese, Hindi, and Chinese. This multilingual coverage is particularly helpful given the cultural and historical depth of the sites visited, ensuring clear communication throughout the day.

Transportation methods vary by option. About a third (33%) use a Car, another 33% feature a Private Driver, and smaller shares involve Bus, Train, or Walking. Since walking tours make up the largest share of activity types (58%), many itineraries combine vehicle transport for long distances with walking segments for exploring temple grounds.

While instant confirmation is available for about half of the options (5), roughly 42% also offer free cancellation. Given that these are primarily private, guided experiences with specific schedules, booking ahead is recommended to secure your preferred date and language preference.

The aggregated sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with an average rating of 4.37★ across 219 pooled reviews. Common themes include 'wonderful temples', 'best tour', and 'experienced guides'. The high proportion of cultural themes (92%) and historical focus (75%) resonates strongly with visitors looking for an immersive educational experience.
