Book Timang Beach Gondola Tours in Yogyakarta

The options we compare across booking platforms typically cost between $43 and $87, with a median price of $57. While the full spread can reach from $29 to $158 depending on group size and inclusions, most travellers will find solid choices within that core band. Prices above this range usually reflect private arrangements or extended itineraries.

You should plan for a substantial commitment, as the duration typically ranges from 8 to 10.6 hours, with a median of 9.5 hours. These are not quick hop-on experiences; they are full-day adventures that often combine the ride with other activities like beach time or local sightseeing.

About half of the options we compare (50%) are private tours, while roughly 38% are standard guided tours. Private tours offer flexibility and exclusivity, which suits families or small groups wanting a tailored pace. Guided tours are ideal if you prefer social interaction and don't mind sharing the experience with others.

Tours are offered in four languages: English, Malay, Indonesian, and Japanese. If you require guidance in one of these languages, you will find options across multiple platforms. Be sure to select your preferred language when booking, as availability can vary by specific listing.

While the name suggests a simple ride, the experience is primarily an adventure and nature tour. Most options (88%) are classified as Adventure Tours, and all include Nature themes. You will likely encounter a mix of transport methods, including gondolas, boats, and walking segments, rather than a single mode of travel.

Flexibility is limited but available. Only one option (12%) offers free cancellation, and two options (25%) provide instant confirmation. Because few tours allow last-minute changes, it is wise to review the cancellation policy carefully before paying, especially if your travel dates are uncertain.

Inclusions vary significantly. About half of the tours (50%) include a guide, while only a quarter (25%) include meals. Since meals are not standard, you may want to bring snacks or water unless your specific booking explicitly states otherwise. A guide is helpful for navigating the natural terrain and understanding the local context.

Book a private driver for about $25. The ride takes one hour and drops you directly at your hotel.
