This is one of the most distinctive features of this category. The vast majority of options we compare are private tours (80% of listings). This means you will likely have your own guide and vehicle rather than joining a large public group, which is particularly useful for photography itineraries where pacing and lighting matter.

You can find tours offered in four languages: English, Russian, Persian, and Dutch. Since most options are private, you can usually request your preferred language when booking, ensuring clear communication during historical stops and photo sessions.

These are multi-day experiences rather than single-day city walks. Durations typically span from about 2 days up to 7 days, with the median length being a full week. This extended timeframe allows for travel between remote locations and capturing different lighting conditions throughout the trip.

Most packages are all-inclusive regarding logistics. Common inclusions across the options we compare feature:

• Private vehicle transport
• Driver services
