Ubud Photo Tours & Workshops

Across the 32 tour options we compare, prices generally range from $50 to $172, with a median price of $75. While you may see listings as low as $26 or as high as $300, the most common price band sits comfortably in that mid-range. We recommend checking specific itineraries, as private tours and longer durations tend to sit at the higher end of this spectrum.

Yes, private experiences are a dominant feature here. Roughly 62% of the options we compare (20 listings) are tagged as private tours. This is significantly higher than the average for general sightseeing, meaning if you prefer a dedicated guide and flexible pacing, you have plenty of choices. The remaining options are primarily guided group tours.

We find tours offered in 5 distinct languages across our compared platforms: English, Indonesian, Spanish, Malay, and Japanese. Since about 59% of the options include a professional guide, language compatibility is usually clear before booking. If you require a specific language other than English, it is worth verifying the listing details, as not every option supports all five.

Duration varies widely depending on whether you want a quick photoshoot or a full cultural immersion. Options typically range from 1 hour to 10.3 hours, with a median duration of 8 hours. Shorter tours often focus on specific photo spots, while longer half-day or full-day experiences usually combine photography with deeper cultural sightseeing.

Inclusions vary by format, but the most common features are:

• A professional guide (59% of options)
• Hotel pickup and drop-off (28% of options)
• Entry tickets to sites (19% of options)
• Camera equipment provided (16% of options)
• A dedicated professional photographer (12% of options)

Since only a minority include entry tickets or transport, be sure to check the 'what's included' section of your chosen listing to avoid unexpected extra costs.

Booking ahead is highly recommended. 78% of the options we compare offer instant confirmation, which suggests they are designed for pre-booking rather than walk-ins. Additionally, 56% offer free cancellation, giving you flexibility. Given that reviews frequently mention 'fantastic' and 'amazing' personalized experiences, securing your preferred time slot ensures you get the best guide availability.

Many highlight the 'beautiful place' and the 'great personalised tour' aspect, particularly for couples and those seeking cultural insights.
