When comparing the 269 tour options we track across booking platforms, most prices fall between $35 and $140, with a median price of around $70. While you may occasionally see listings starting as low as $9 or going up to $260, those usually represent niche private experiences or add-on services. For a standard guided group tour that includes entry tickets, budgeting near the median is a safe starting point.

You can expect a walking-focused itinerary (used in 81% of options) led by a knowledgeable guide who covers the art, architecture, and religious significance of the complex. While only a small fraction are explicitly tagged as family-friendly, the visual nature of the sites makes them generally appealing for all ages.

Skip-the-line access is not automatic on every booking. Only 20% of the options we compare (53 listings) include this feature, which allows you to bypass the general admission queues. Duration varies significantly depending on whether the tour focuses just on the exterior views or includes interior climbs and museum visits. The typical duration ranges from 1 hour to 4 hours, with a median time of 2 hours. If you are looking for a quick overview, look for tours under 1.5 hours; if you want a deep dive into the cathedral's history and art, aim for the longer 3-to-4-hour experiences.
