Best Airport & City Transfers

The options we compare across booking platforms generally fall between $93 and $251, with a median cost of around $137. While there is a wider spread ranging from about $43 to $1,134, most travellers will find standard private transfers in that middle band. We recommend checking specific listings for exact pricing, as costs can vary based on vehicle type and group size.

The vast majority of the tours we compare are private experiences. Specifically, 83% (10 out of 12) of the options are tagged as private tours. This means you will likely have your own dedicated driver and vehicle for the journey, rather than sharing the ride with other tourists. Only a small fraction of the listings offer shared shuttle services.

Duration varies depending on traffic and the specific service level, but most transfers last between 1 hour and 2 hours. The median duration across the options we compare is roughly 1.3 hours, while some premium or extended services can take up to 3.8 hours. It is wise to allow extra time during peak travel periods in the Kanto region.

Most of the options we compare use cars or vans. Roughly two-thirds of the listings utilize a standard car, while about 42% offer a van, which is helpful if you have larger luggage or are travelling in a bigger group. A small number of options (around 17%) specifically list a shuttle van. You can filter by vehicle type when browsing the available listings.

Hotel pickup and drop-off is a common feature but not universal. About a quarter of the options (25%) include this service. For those that do, it typically involves a meet-and-greet where the driver assists with luggage. If hotel pickup is not included, you will usually need to meet the driver at a designated meeting point.

Yes, many providers offer flexible terms. Approximately 58% of the options we compare allow for free cancellation. Additionally, about half of these listings provide instant confirmation, meaning you do not have to wait for manual approval before your booking is secured. Always check the specific cancellation policy of the listing you choose.

The services we compare are offered in three main languages: Chinese, English, and Japanese. Since most of these are private transfers, the language capability depends on the specific driver assigned to your booking. We recommend selecting a listing that explicitly states your preferred language to ensure smooth communication during the trip.
