A smaller share offers hotel pickup and drop-off (13%). Because formats vary, it is worth checking the specific itinerary to see if transport or food is part of the package.

Tours typically last between 2.2 and 5 hours, with a median duration of 3.2 hours. This gives you enough time to explore the narrow streets and historic sites without feeling rushed. If you have a tight schedule, look for shorter city tours near the lower end of that range.

Yes, private tours are a standout feature for this experience. About 62% of the options we compare (28 listings) are private, which is unusually high compared to other city activities. This allows for a customized pace and itinerary. You can also join a group tour if you prefer a social atmosphere, as 9% of options are group-based.

Guides are available in 8 languages: English, Spanish, French, Arabic, Italian, German, Portuguese, and Dutch. This wide selection ensures that most international travellers can find a guide who speaks their preferred language comfortably.

Booking ahead is highly recommended. Reviews are overwhelmingly positive, with nearly 98% of sentiment being favorable across analysed products. Travellers frequently mention that guides are "amazing," "knowledgeable," and that they would "definitely take this tour." Since popular slots sell out, securing your spot in advance helps ensure availability.

A significant portion of the tours we compare are tagged as eco-friendly (73%), reflecting a focus on sustainable local practices. However, only 1% are specifically tagged as family-friendly, so parents should check reviews or contact providers to confirm suitability for young children.
