Compare Top Stonehenge & Salisbury Tours

The options we compare across booking platforms range widely, with most tours costing between $33 and $89. The median price sits around $77, though you may find premium private experiences stretching up to $1,291 or more budget-friendly basic entry tickets starting near $22. We recommend checking multiple OTAs like Viator and GetYourGuide to find the best deal for your preferred format.

Skip-the-line access is rare for this specific tour group. Only 1 of the 13 options we compare (8%) includes this feature. Most tours rely on standard entry procedures, so if avoiding queues is a priority, look closely at the inclusions list for that single listing rather than assuming it is standard practice.

You can expect a wide variety of time commitments. Durations typically span from 1.9 hours to 10 hours, with a median trip length of 5 hours. This variance reflects the mix of short guided walks versus full-day excursions that might include nearby landmarks like Avebury or Windsor Castle.

Hotel transfers are not the norm but are available in a minority of options. Roughly 15% of the tours we compare (2 listings) offer hotel pickup and drop-off. The majority of travellers will need to arrange their own transport to the meeting point in Salisbury, often via local bus or taxi.

We see good multilingual coverage across the platforms. Tours are offered in 8 languages: English, Italian, French, German, Dutch, Portuguese, Japanese, and Spanish. If you require a guide in a specific language other than English, verify availability directly with the provider before booking, as slots can fill quickly.

Private tours represent a distinct segment of this market. About 23% of the options we compare (3 listings) are tagged as private tours, allowing for a customized itinerary and flexible pacing. While group tours (also 23%) offer a social atmosphere and lower price point, private guides provide a more intimate historical deep-dive suitable for families or small groups seeking exclusivity.
