Duration varies significantly based on the itinerary, but most tours last between 5 hours and 1 day. The median duration across the options we analyze is approximately 16.5 hours, which suggests that many full-day excursions include extended time in the mountains, potentially with lunch breaks or multiple stops. If you are looking for a shorter half-day experience, you will likely find fewer options, as the standard format leans toward longer, immersive nature walks.

Private tours are a popular choice for this activity, accounting for 42% of the options we compare (5 out of 12). This is an unusually high share compared to other hiking experiences, indicating strong demand for personalized attention. Private tours often allow for more flexible pacing and customized routes, which reviewers describe as "wonderful" and "highly recommended." However, they come at a premium; if budget is a concern, the remaining group tours still offer excellent value and professional guidance.

Convenience features vary by provider. Approximately 25% of tours include meals, such as lunch or hot drinks, which is useful given the cold mountain conditions. Hotel pickup and drop-off are less common, offered by only 17% of the options.
