Best Ljubljana Wine Tasting Tours & Vineyard Visits

The options we compare across booking platforms typically cost between $51 and $73, with a median price of $64. While the typical spread ranges from around $39 to $346, most travellers will find solid experiences within that core band. Prices vary based on whether the tour includes gourmet food pairings or private transport.

Most tours focus on the sensory experience rather than logistics. When comparing what is included, you will find that:

• A guide is provided in roughly 62% of the options.
• Wine tasting itself is explicitly included in about 31% of listings.
• Additional drinks are covered in 25% of tours.
• Full wine inclusion (beyond just tasting) appears in 12% of options.

Because Food & Drinks is the theme for 100% of the options, you can expect a strong culinary component regardless of the specific listing.

If you are travelling with family or a large group, you have distinct choices. Only one option (6%) is tagged as family-friendly, so those listings are worth checking if you need child-specific pacing. For larger parties, there is one private tour option available. Most other tours are guided group experiences, which may require splitting your party if they exceed the group size limit.

Duration varies significantly depending on whether you want a quick city-centre tasting or a more immersive experience. The typical range is 1.5 to 6.2 hours, with a median duration of 2 hours. If you have a tight schedule, look for listings under two hours; if you want a full afternoon activity, many options extend up to six hours.

Accessibility is limited for this specific activity type. Walking is the primary way tours get around in 38% of the options, which often implies uneven surfaces or steps. We do not see a significant share of explicitly wheelchair-accessible listings in the data, so it is best to contact the operator directly before booking if mobility is a concern.

You can book these tours in five languages: English, Russian, Serbian, Slovenian, and Italian. English is widely available given its status as a global lingua franca, but if you prefer another language, check the specific listing details to confirm availability for your preferred date.

Yes, booking ahead is advisable. Instant confirmation is available in 50% of the options, which helps secure your spot without waiting. Additionally, free cancellation is offered by 44% of providers, giving you flexibility. With an average rating of 4.9 stars across 745 pooled reviews, these tours are highly rated, and popular time slots can fill up quickly.

Yes, the compact city center is best explored on foot. Most major attractions are within a short walking distance from each other.

You can walk up the stairs or take the funicular train. The funicular costs about two euros and offers quick access to the top.

Slovenia uses the Euro. Cash is accepted everywhere, but cards work for most restaurants and shops in the city center.
