Compare Best Delos & Rhenia Boat Trips

When comparing the 30 tour options we track across booking platforms, prices generally fall between $92 and $2,064. The median price sits around $127, with most standard group cruises costing between $107 and $274. You will find a wide variety of price points because some listings are basic shared boat trips while others are private charters or luxury experiences that drive the upper end of the range.

Most travellers choose these tours for the convenience of all-inclusive packages. Across the options we compare, 67% include meals (often featuring good food and lunch), while 37% include drinks. A guide is provided in roughly 27% of the tours, and equipment is included in about 20%. If you book a basic entry ticket instead, you would need to arrange your own transport to the islands, food, and water separately.

Yes, private tours are a significant part of what is available. About 27% of the options we compare are tagged as private tours, which is an unusually high share for this type of activity. These allow you to have a dedicated boat and crew, making them ideal for families or groups who want flexibility. The remaining 73% are primarily group tours where you share the vessel with other travellers.

The typical duration for these excursions is between 4 hours and 6.7 hours, with a median time of 6 hours. This allows enough time to explore the archaeological site on Delos and relax on the beach at Rhenia without feeling rushed. Some shorter sightseeing variants may be slightly quicker, but the majority of highly rated options commit to a half-day schedule.

You can find tours offered in 8 languages: English, Greek, French, Portuguese, Italian, German, Spanish, and Polish. Since 27% of the options are guided tours, having this multilingual coverage ensures that most travellers can find a guide who speaks their language comfortably. Always check the specific listing details to confirm the language of the guide before booking.

Booking ahead is highly recommended. Reviews across the 6,439 pooled ratings we aggregate show an average score of 4.66 stars, with 88% of sentiment being positive. Common themes in reviews include 'highly recommend' and 'incredible' experiences. Because popular slots sell out quickly, especially during peak season, securing your spot in advance helps ensure availability and often provides better value than last-minute bookings.

Sustainability is not yet a dominant feature in this category. Only 1 option (roughly 3%) among the tours we compare is currently tagged as eco-friendly. While the natural setting is beautiful, most operators focus on standard cruising logistics rather than certified green practices. If environmental impact is a priority for you, look closely at the specific operator's description, as these tags are loosely applied and not always verified.

Take a local bus or taxi. Buses run frequently but fill up fast in summer. Taxis are faster but cost more.

Yes, swimming is generally safe. However, currents can be strong. Always heed warning flags and supervise children closely near the water.
