Compare Top Sintra Palace Tours

When comparing the 76 tour options we track across booking platforms, prices typically range from $53 to $152, with a median of $88. While you may find listings starting as low as $19 or going up to $392, these outliers usually reflect private charters, multi-day packages, or add-ons rather than standard group tours. For most travellers, budgeting around the median price will secure a well-rated guided experience.

Most tours last between 4 and 5 hours, which is the median duration across the options we compare. The full spread ranges from quick 1.5-hour highlights to full-day excursions lasting up to 8 hours. If you are planning your day, expect the majority of sightseeing and cultural tours to take about half a day, allowing time for travel between palaces and queue management.

Booking ahead is generally recommended but not always urgent. Only 1% of the options we compare (about one listing) are flagged as likely to sell out, suggesting that walk-up availability is often decent. However, 34% of tours offer instant confirmation, and 26% allow free cancellation, giving you flexibility to decide closer to your travel date if you prefer not to commit early.

Skip-the-line access is available but not universal. Only 9% of the tours we compare (roughly seven options) explicitly include skip-the-line entry. Since the majority of tours are standard sightseeing experiences, if avoiding queues is a priority, you should filter specifically for this feature when browsing, as it is not included in most standard guide-led packages.

The options we compare are offered in 8 languages: English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Dutch, and Arabic. This wide linguistic coverage means you can easily find a tour in your preferred language without needing a custom private arrangement, though English and Portuguese remain the most common default offerings.

Inclusions vary significantly by price point and format. Based on the data:

• Guide Included: Present in 62% of options.
• Entry Ticket: Included in 39% of options.
• Transport: Provided in 13% of options.
• Meals: Rarely included, found in only 12% of options.
• Hotel Pickup/Drop-off: Available in 9% of options.

Most mid-range tours focus on the guiding service, while higher-priced private tours are more likely to bundle transport and entry fees.
