Best Prek Toal Bird Sanctuary Tours & Boat Trips

When comparing the 7 tour options we track across booking platforms, prices generally fall between $132 and $234, with a median of $166. The typical spread ranges from around $86 to $356, depending on group size and inclusions. While you may see lower entry points for basic add-ons or deposits, the core guided experiences sit firmly within this band.

Prek Toal Bird Sanctuary tours lean heavily toward private experiences. Roughly 57% of the options we compare are tagged as private tours, meaning you will likely have your own guide and boat rather than sharing with strangers. The remaining listings operate as small-group guided tours, but private arrangements are the most common format here.

Visits vary significantly based on the itinerary, ranging from about 3.6 hours up to 10.2 hours, with a median duration of 8 hours. Most travellers should expect a half-day to full-day commitment. If you have a tight schedule, look for the shorter nature tours, but be aware that many of the highly-rated experiences are designed to fill a larger portion of your day.

Guides are offered in English and French. Since all listed options are guided tours, you can select a listing that matches your preferred language when booking. There is no evidence of other language support among the current inventory.

Booking ahead is advisable because roughly 43% of the options offer instant confirmation, allowing you to secure your spot without waiting for manual approval. However, since these are nature-based excursions involving boat transport rather than a single gated attraction, 'skip-the-line' access does not apply in the traditional sense. Instead, early booking ensures availability on smaller boats and preferred time slots.

Inclusions vary by operator, but the most common features are:

• A professional guide (included in 43% of options)
• Boat transportation (included in 29% of options)
• Meals and water (each included in 29% of options)

Since only a minority include meals or the boat itself in the base price, always check the fine print to avoid unexpected costs for transport or food during the excursion.
