Yes, private tours are very common for this activity. About half (50%) of the options we compare are private tours, allowing you to have the boat to yourself or your group. These often come in formats like private car transfers or dedicated boat rentals. If you prefer flexibility and exclusivity over joining a larger group, this is a strong choice, though it will likely place you in the higher end of the price spectrum.

Duration varies significantly depending on whether you want a quick sightseeing hop or a full-day excursion. Most tours last between 49 minutes and 10.2 hours, with a median duration of about 4 hours. Shorter cruises are ideal for a quick photo opportunity, while longer options may include multiple stops or dining.

Booking ahead is highly recommended, especially for private tours and those with specific time slots. While 55% of options offer instant confirmation, popular cultural and sightseeing cruises can sell out during peak tourist seasons. Securing your ticket in advance ensures you get the best price and avoids disappointment, particularly if you are aiming for a sunset or night cruise.

There are niche options for both preferences, though they represent a smaller share of the total inventory. About 20% of the tours we compare are tagged as eco-friendly, focusing on sustainable practices or lower-impact vessels.
