Skip-the-line access is not a standard feature across the majority of these city tours. Most listings focus on guided sightseeing and cultural exploration rather than queue-jumping at specific monuments. You should check the specific itinerary details for each option, as only a small subset may include priority entry to particular attractions.

We find tours available in five languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, and French. Since about half of the options include a guide, language availability is tied to the specific guide assigned to your booking. We recommend confirming your preferred language when reserving, especially for private tours where you might have more flexibility.

Private tours make up a significant portion of what we compare, accounting for 62% of the options (5 out of 8). These tend to offer more personalized itineraries and flexible pacing. However, group or semi-private guided tours are also common and often provide a more social atmosphere. Given the high average rating of 4.99 stars, both formats appear to deliver high-quality experiences, so the choice depends on whether you prefer privacy or shared interaction.

Expect these excursions to take between 6.6 and 9.4 hours, with a typical duration of around 8 hours. This is a substantial commitment, allowing for deep dives into the city's history and culture. Some options may be shorter if they focus solely on wine tasting or specific neighborhoods, but the majority are full-day affairs.

Inclusions vary by provider, but common features include:

• A professional guide (included in 50% of options)

• Hotel pickup and drop-off (available in 25% of options)
• Entry tickets to attractions (included in 25% of options)

Always review the specific 'What's Included' section for your chosen listing, as some prices cover just the guide while others are all-inclusive packages.

Transportation methods differ depending on the tour format. Approximately 38% of the options (3 out of 8) use a car for transportation, which is useful for covering larger distances between landmarks. Other tours may involve walking or public transport, particularly those focused on historic city centers. Check the itinerary to see if the route is primarily pedestrian-friendly or vehicle-based.
