Prices vary based on whether the tour includes hotel pickup, private transport, or extended durations.

For most travellers, yes. While basic entry tickets are available, roughly half of the tour options we compare (47%) include the entry fee along with a guide. Guides are present in 74% of the tours we track, and they add significant value by explaining conservation efforts and helping locate wildlife. Given the centre's size, having a knowledgeable local guide often makes the experience more engaging than a self-guided visit.

Most tours last about 3 hours, which is the median duration we see across our data. However, there is some flexibility; experiences can range from shorter visits to full-day excursions lasting up to 1.2 days. If you prefer a relaxed pace without rushing through the exhibits, sticking to the standard 3-hour guided option is usually the best balance.

Booking ahead is recommended, especially for specific time slots, though many operators offer instant confirmation. The good news for flexible planners is that free cancellation is available on 68% of the options we compare (roughly 13 out of 19). This gives you plenty of room to adjust your plans if your itinerary changes before the tour date.

Private tours are rare for this specific experience. Out of the 19 options we compare, only one is tagged as a private tour. The overwhelming majority are group tours, meaning you will likely be sharing the experience with other visitors. If privacy is a strict requirement, you may need to look for custom arrangements outside these standard listings.

You have a wide choice of languages, with tours available in eight different tongues: English, Italian, Hindi, Malay, Portuguese, Chinese, Bengali, and French.
