Los Tres Ojos: Swim & Explore Caverns

Across the options we compare, prices typically range from $35 to $85, with a median of around $45. While you may see listings starting as low as $13 or going up to $157 depending on inclusions like transport or private guides, most travellers find value in the mid-range tier. Booking ahead is often worth it to secure these rates rather than paying for entry on-site.

The vast majority of tours we compare are structured as City Tours and Sightseeing Tours, all centred around a Nature theme. About 40% of the options also include a Boat Tour component, which allows you to view the three interconnected lakes from the water. These formats combine walking through the park with broader Santo Domingo city exploration.

Most of the tours we compare (60%) are Guided Tours, while the remainder are Group Tours. Roughly half of the options include an Entry Ticket, and about the same share include a Guide. If you prefer a self-guided experience, you can look for basic entry-only listings, but joining a guided tour ensures you get context on the limestone caverns and the history of the site.

Duration varies significantly based on whether the tour includes other Santo Domingo landmarks. Most options last between 1.5 and 4.5 hours, with a median duration of roughly 3.5 hours. A quick walk-through of just the caves might take less time, but most listed tours bundle the park with nearby attractions like the Colonial Zone, extending the total time.

Transport is included in about 40% of the options we compare. The most common modes are Bus, Minibus, and Walking tours, with some featuring a Boat segment. If you are staying outside the immediate historic centre, selecting a tour that explicitly lists Transport Included will save you the hassle of arranging separate logistics.

Flexibility is fairly common here. Roughly 60% of the tours we compare offer Free Cancellation. This means you can usually book a slot now and adjust your plans later without penalty, provided you follow the specific deadline set by the operator. Always check the cancellation policy details before confirming.

You can find tours conducted in six languages: English, Italian, Portuguese, French, Spanish, and German. Since this is a major tourist destination in Santo Domingo, English and Spanish are widely available. If you require one of the other languages, verify availability when booking, as not every daily departure may have a guide for each language.
