The landscape here is heavily skewed toward private experiences. Roughly 62% of the options we compare (29 listings) are classified as Private Tours, and an additional 64% (30 listings) are explicitly tagged as private tours. This means you will find far more exclusive, tailor-made itineraries than standard group departures. Guided tours make up the largest share at 81%, but if you prefer flexibility and privacy, the majority of available choices cater to that preference.

Sustainability and family accessibility are niche categories on this page. Only a handful of tours are tagged as eco-friendly (5 listings, or 11%), so these are not representative of the broader market. Similarly, only 2% (1 listing) is tagged as family-friendly. If these criteria are essential for your trip, you will need to filter carefully, as they represent a very small fraction of the total inventory.

Guides are available in 7 languages: English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German, Korean, and Italian. Since 70% of the options (33 listings) include a guide, you have strong support in major European languages. However, please note that language availability can vary by specific tour operator and date, so it is wise to confirm when booking.

Most packages focus on guidance and transportation rather than meals or entry fees. Specifically:

• Guide Included: Available in 70% of options (33 listings).
• Hotel Pickup and Drop-off: Offered by roughly half (51%) of the tours.
• Transport Included: Provided in 36% of options.
• Meals Included: Found in only 21% of tours.
• Entry Ticket Included: Rare, appearing in just 15% of options.

This suggests that many tours provide the logistics and expertise, but you may need to budget separately for food and attraction tickets.

Duration varies significantly depending on whether you choose a local sightseeing walk or a broader regional exploration. Typical tours last between 6 hours and 3 days, with a median duration of 8 hours. Walking tours tend to be shorter, while Day Trips and multi-day cultural experiences naturally require more time.

While only 4% (2 listings) include skip-the-line access, the ease of cancellation allows you to secure your preferred date without financial risk if plans change.
