Across the options we compare, prices generally range from $47 to $199, with a median cost of around $65. While most tours fall within the $55–$199 band, you can occasionally find entry-level options near the lower end. Booking ahead is often worth it to secure the best rate, as prices can fluctuate across different booking platforms.

The vast majority of options are private tours. In fact, 80% of the listings we compare are designated as private, meaning you will likely have your own dedicated guide and vehicle for the duration. This high share makes it easier to customize the pace and stops compared to standard group departures.

Most tours last between 1 and 2 hours, with the median duration sitting at exactly 1 hour. This makes them suitable for travelers who want a focused tasting experience without committing to a full-day itinerary. If you prefer a longer excursion, you may need to look for specific multi-stop packages that extend beyond this standard timeframe.

A unique feature of this category is the use of sidecars for transportation. Roughly 60% of the options we compare utilize sidecars, offering a distinct way to see the vineyards. The remaining tours typically involve walking or other guided transport methods, so checking the specific itinerary is important if you have mobility preferences.

While many tours offer instant confirmation, only about 20% (one out of five options) provide free cancellation. Since most are private tours, availability can be tighter, so we recommend checking the specific policy for each listing before booking. Instant confirmation helps if you are planning on the fly, but flexibility is limited unless explicitly stated.

Tours are offered in English and Spanish. Since 80% of the options include a guide, language support is generally consistent, but you should verify the primary language of the guide when selecting your specific listing to ensure it matches your preference.
