Lares offers three main treks: the classic 4-day Lares Trek (moderate), the shorter 2-day option (easy), and the challenging 5-day remote route. Each passes through Quechua communities and hot springs.

Arrive in Cusco 2-3 days early to adjust to 11,000 feet. Stay hydrated, eat light meals, and consider altitude sickness medication. The trek starts at 9,500 feet and reaches 13,100 feet gradually.
