Across the 36 tour options we compare, prices typically range from $33 to $69, with a median price of $51. The full spread is wider, going from around $20 up to $431 for premium or private experiences. We recommend checking multiple platforms, as the same tour can vary in price depending on where you book.

The vast majority of options are historical sightseeing tours. Specifically, 92% of the listings focus on history and 83% are categorized as sightseeing tours. These usually involve a guided walk through the ancient ruins, combining cultural context with views of the island.

Booking ahead is generally worth it for convenience rather than necessity. Only one option (3%) is flagged as likely to sell out, and just three tours (8%) include skip-the-line access. Most visitors can secure a spot easily, but booking provides instant confirmation for 72% of the available tours.

There are a handful of choices tagged with specific traveler preferences. About 22% of the tours are tagged as eco-friendly, while only one option (3%) is marked as family-friendly. Keep in mind these tags are loosely applied by platforms and do not imply formal certification.

Guided tours are available in eight languages: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Greek, Dutch, and Simplified Chinese. Half of the options we compare (50%) include a guide, so you have solid coverage if you prefer a spoken explanation over a self-guided audio app.

Duration varies significantly depending on whether you want a quick visit or a full-day excursion. Tours typically last between 1.1 hours and 7 hours, with a median duration of 5 hours. If you are short on time, look for shorter walking tours; if you want to explore the village and beach too, opt for longer combinations.
