Most tours last between 3.5 and 6 hours, with a median duration of roughly 4.2 hours. This timeframe typically includes travel from Reykjavik, safety briefings, and the guided walk on the ice. Because the activity is mostly Adventure themed (featured in 100% of options) and primarily involves Hiking (78% of options), the duration accounts for both the journey and the physical activity on the glacier itself.
