Zip-Line Through Manuel Antonio Rainforest

Most of the tours we compare across booking platforms fall between $89 and $116, with a median price of around $92. The typical spread ranges from about $80 to $138. While you may occasionally find listings starting lower, those often represent partial add-ons or deposits rather than the full experience. Booking ahead is usually the best way to secure a spot at these standard rates.

The most common inclusions are a guide and meals. Specifically, roughly half of the options we compare include some form of meal, while about one-third provide a professional guide. A smaller portion includes hotel pickup and drop-off (roughly one-third) or equipment provision (about one-quarter). Fees are included in only a minority of listings, so it is worth checking the fine print before confirming your booking.

You should plan for a duration of roughly 4 hours on average. The total time spent typically ranges from 2 to 4.5 hours, depending on whether the option includes extended hiking or additional wildlife viewing stops beyond the zip lines themselves.

The activity is primarily an adventure-focused nature experience, which appeals to families looking for active outdoor fun. However, when it comes to sustainability credentials, only a small fraction of the options we compare (around 8%) are explicitly tagged as eco-friendly by the platforms. If environmental certification is a priority for you, you will need to filter carefully or contact the provider directly.

Booking in advance is highly recommended. About 58% of the options we compare offer instant confirmation, which suggests that availability is managed online rather than through walk-up tickets. Furthermore, reviews consistently highlight that this is a "must-do" experience, meaning popular time slots can sell out quickly during peak seasons.

Guides are offered in two main languages: English and Spanish. Since the vast majority of tours (83%) are guided experiences, you will have support in one of these languages throughout the activity. It is wise to confirm your language preference when booking to ensure the guide assigned matches your needs.

The sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with an average rating of 4.9 stars across more than 2,600 pooled reviews. Travelers frequently describe it as the "best zip line" they have ever done and emphasize that it ensures the best possible experience. Common themes include having "so much fun" and finding the adventure truly awesome. There are no widespread complaints noted in the data, making it a reliably high-quality choice.

Take a short taxi ride or walk along the coastal path. Taxis are affordable and drop you near the park entrance.

Most hotels provide filtered water for drinking. Always check with your host before consuming unfiltered tap water directly.

Buy online through SINAC at least two weeks ahead. Walk-in sales are rare and often sold out by morning.
