Best Port Vila City Tours & Guides

Across the options we compare, most tours cost between $90 and $138, with a median price of $118. While you may see listings ranging from $41 to $298, prices outside that core band often reflect private formats or specialized inclusions. Booking through multiple platforms helps ensure you find the best rate for your preferred itinerary.

The duration varies significantly depending on the format, typically ranging from about 1.5 hours to 7.5 hours. The median experience lasts around 5.5 hours. If you are short on time, look for shorter sightseeing loops; if you want a deeper dive into culture and history, the longer guided tours are the better fit.

Accessibility information is not prominently featured across the majority of the 20 options we compare. Since transport modes vary widely—with walking (30%), bus (20%), boat (15%), and car (10%) all represented—you should check the specific details of each listing before booking. We recommend contacting the provider directly to confirm accessibility needs, as this data is not standardized across platforms.

Tours are generally offered in English and French. With only two languages supported across the inventory, it is easy to filter for your preference. Most group tours (80% of options) are conducted in English, but if you prefer French, roughly half of the listed experiences provide that option.

Inclusions vary by provider, but the most common features are a guide (included in 55% of options), hotel pickup and drop-off (20%), and meals (20%). Entry tickets are included in only 15% of cases, so be sure to verify whether attraction fees are covered. Transport is also included in 15% of tours, meaning some require independent travel to the meeting point.

Private tours make up only 15% of the options we compare, while group tours dominate at 80%. Private tours offer flexibility and personalized attention, which reviewers frequently praise as an "awesome day" experience. However, they come at a higher price point. If you value schedule control and one-on-one interaction, the private option is worth the premium; otherwise, the group tours offer strong value and social atmosphere.
