Best Cinque Terre Pesto Classes & Tours

Across the 26 tour options we compare, prices generally range from $73 to $396, with most listings falling between $93 and $210. The median price sits around $155. While there are some budget-friendly choices starting near the lower end of that band, the majority of well-reviewed experiences cluster in the mid-range. If you see a price significantly below $73, it is likely a partial deposit or add-on rather than the full experience.

This is primarily a hands-on Cooking Class (100% of the options we compare). Because the focus is on food preparation and tasting, every listing also falls under the Food & Drinks theme. You will find a mix of formats, including guided group sessions and private lessons, but the core activity is always learning to make pesto and enjoying the results.

Most sessions last between 1 and 3 hours, with a median duration of about 1.8 hours. This timeframe allows enough time for instruction, cooking, and tasting without taking up your entire day. Since the activity is mostly a cooking class, the schedule is usually tighter than a general food tour, which might include more walking or multiple stops.

The courses are available in English and Italian. Since this is a specific culinary experience rather than a large-scale landmark tour, the language options are limited to these two. Most guides are proficient in English, making it accessible for international travellers, but checking the specific listing details is wise if you require Italian-only instruction.
