Best Les Invalides Tours & Tickets

The standout experiences for this site are overwhelmingly Historical and Museum Tour focused, which aligns with 100% of the options we compare. Because 96% of these tours are museum-based, you will find deep dives into Napoleon’s tomb, military history, and the Musée de l'Armée. Reviewers frequently highlight guides who are described as extremely knowledgeable, making a guided tour a strong choice over a basic ticket if you want context on the complex history.

Across the 28 tour options we compare, prices typically range from $32–$155, with a median price of $104. The broader spread can go from around $20 to $257 depending on whether you choose a standard group entry or a private experience. Budget-friendly options usually include just the entry ticket, while higher-priced tiers often bundle a private guide or skip-the-line access.

Yes, private tours represent a significant portion of the market here. About 39% of the options we compare (11 listings) are tagged as Private Tour formats. This is an unusually high share compared to many other Parisian landmarks, giving travellers plenty of flexibility to hire a dedicated guide for a tailored historical walkthrough rather than joining a large group.

Booking ahead is generally recommended. While most options offer instant confirmation, roughly 14% of the tours we compare (4 listings) are flagged as likely to sell out. Since the average rating across pooled reviews is 4.58★ based on 13,221 combined reviews, popular time slots tend to fill quickly, especially during peak tourist seasons.

Skip-the-line access is not guaranteed on every option, but it is available on a notable minority. Approximately 25% of the tours we compare (7 listings) explicitly include Skip-the-Line Access. If avoiding queues is a priority, look for those specific tags when filtering your search, as standard entry tickets may require waiting in line.

You have a wide selection of language options, with tours offered in 8 languages: English, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, German, Portuguese, and Chinese. This multilingual availability ensures that non-English speakers can also access detailed historical commentary, though it is wise to verify the specific language of your chosen guide at the time of booking.

Accessibility options are limited in this category. Only about 7% of the tours we compare (2 listings) are marked as Wheelchair Accessible.
