Dolphin Watching Tour - from Golfo Aranci
DOLPHIN VISITING For over 10 years a pack of dolphins of the bottlenose species has been settled in the waters between Capo Figari and Golfo Aranci Near the island of Figarolo there is a fish farm, where, in huge cages, sea bass and sea bream are bred in large quantities. The presence of these fish attracts dolphins in search of food. Navigating near the island and the plant the chances of spotting dolphins are very high. The guides on board will illustrate the features and habits of these specimens. Suitable excursion for everyone! Duration: 1.30h Snack on board.
- On board mineral water and iced tea
AI Review Summary
Opening overview: The Dolphin Watching Tour - from Golfo Aranci gets overwhelmingly positive feedback — roughly 95% of reviewers loved it — with most visitors calling it an amazing, memorable short cruise. Travelers especially praise the frequent dolphin sightings around Capo Figari/Figarolo and the friendly, informative guides who explain dolphin behavior. Highlights: Reviews repeatedly note that the nearby fish farm attracts bottlenose dolphins, so sightings are often plentiful and close to the boat even on this 1.5-hour outing. Guests also appreciated the guides’ storytelling, the relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere, and the included snack on board. Constructive critiques: A small minority reported no dolphins or that bad weather affected their experience — sightings can’t be guaranteed and rough seas reduce visibility. A few people mentioned crowding and a bit of a scramble when dolphins appear, so views aren’t always private. Overall recommendation: This tour is highly recommended for families, first-time visitors and nature lovers who want a short, high-value marine excursion from Golfo Aranci. AI travel tips: - Go early and check the forecast — calmer seas improve comfort and your chances of spotting dolphins. - Bring a windproof layer, a camera with zoom and seasickness medicine if you’re prone; the trip lasts about 1.5 hours and includes a snack. - If you prefer quieter viewing, ask about less crowded departure times or smaller-boat options when you book.
