Fly NYC: Indoor Skydiving Tours

When comparing the 8 options we track across booking platforms, prices for a single experience typically range from $114 to $126. The median price sits at $125, with most listings clustering tightly between $122 and $125. This category represents a value sweet spot, as the average rating of 4.61 stars is high relative to the typical price point.

The packages we compare vary slightly in what they provide. While equipment is provided in about a quarter of the options (2 out of 8), a certificate is included in roughly half (3 out of 8). A guide is present in 25% of the tours. Most experiences are self-guided or include minimal staff support beyond safety briefings.

You should plan for approximately 1.5 hours for the full experience. The duration across the options we compare ranges from 1.3 to 1.5 hours, with the median time being 1.5 hours. This allows enough time for gear-up, safety instructions, and flight time in the wind tunnel.

Booking ahead is recommended to secure your preferred time slot. Instant confirmation is available for the vast majority of options, covering 7 out of 8 listings (88%). However, free cancellation is rare, offered by only one option (12%), so it is wise to check the specific policy before purchasing.

This activity is heavily skewed toward adventure seekers. All options we compare are themed around Adventure (100%), and the primary activity type is Indoor Skydiving (75%), with the remainder classified as Adventure Tours. It is designed for those looking for an adrenaline-focused experience rather than a passive sightseeing tour.

Guided formats are available but not dominant. Only 25% of the options we compare (2 out of 8) are classified as Guided Tours. The majority of the experiences are likely self-paced or involve limited instructor interaction focused solely on safety and basic technique within the wind tunnel.

The indoor skydiving experiences we compare are offered in English only. There is currently just one language option listed across all 8 platforms, which may limit accessibility for non-English speaking travellers unless they are comfortable participating in an English-speaking environment.
