Best Greenwich Village Haunted Tours NYC

When comparing the 35 tour options we track across booking platforms, most tours fall within a $30–$60 price band, with a median price of around $35. While you can find listings starting from roughly $18 and private experiences reaching up to $148, the vast majority of travellers will spend between those mid-range figures. We recommend checking multiple OTAs to find the best current rate for your preferred date.

Most tours last between 1 and 2 hours, with the median experience running for about 2 hours. This duration allows guides to cover historical narratives without feeling rushed. If you are looking for a quick overview or a more in-depth deep dive, check the specific itinerary details, as some options may vary slightly outside this standard window.

About 66% of the options we compare (23 out of 35) offer instant confirmation, which often implies you can secure a spot without long lead times. However, because walking tours are popular and have limited group sizes, booking ahead is generally safer than hoping for walk-up availability. Roughly half of these tours also offer free cancellation, giving you flexibility if your plans change.

Accessibility and family suitability are niche features on this page. Only 1 option (3%) is tagged as family-friendly, and the data does not highlight widespread wheelchair accessibility among the 35 listings. Since all tours are walking-based, mobility considerations should be checked carefully against the specific operator's notes before booking.

Guides are available in 5 languages: English, French, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese. English is the primary language for the majority of listings, but if you require a tour in another language, you will need to filter specifically for that option when browsing the 35 available choices across platforms.

Private tours represent a small minority, accounting for only 4 of the 35 options (11%). Most travellers join guided group tours, which make up 97% of the listings. A private tour offers exclusivity and custom pacing, but if you prefer a social atmosphere and want to stick to the standard budget range, a group tour is the dominant and likely more cost-effective choice.
