Across the 17 tour options we compare, prices typically range from $82 to $243, with a median price of $118. You may find some listings outside this spread, ranging from around $54 to $440, but the majority fall within that core band. We always recommend checking the specific inclusions for each listing, as private tours or those with hotel pickup tend to sit at the higher end.

The most common duration is around 2 hours, which represents the median across our compared options. Depending on the specific itinerary and format you choose, tours generally last between 1 hour and 6.7 hours. If you have a tight schedule, look for options tagged specifically as shorter sightseeing walks, while full-day experiences will naturally take up more time.

Yes, private tours are quite common for this attraction. About 35% of the options we compare (roughly 6 out of 17) are offered as private tours. This is a notably high share compared to many other city activities. Private formats often allow for more flexible pacing and personalized attention from your guide, though they usually command a higher price point than group tours.

You can book these tours in English, Greek, and French. Since English is widely used in tourism, most guides will be able to accommodate English-speaking travellers. If you prefer Greek or French, check the specific listing details before booking to confirm language availability, as not every single option offers all three.

Hotel pickup is available but not standard for every option. Only about 18% of the tours we compare (roughly 3 out of 17) include hotel pickup and drop-off. The vast majority (94%) rely on walking as the primary mode of transport, starting from a central meeting point. If you need transportation to the start point, look for the specific listings that explicitly state pickup is included.

Travelers frequently describe the experience as great, enjoyable, and entertaining, with many highlighting the guide's knowledge. A small number of reviewers mention that popular slots can fill up quickly, so booking ahead is advisable to secure your preferred time.

Many of the available options carry eco-friendly tags. Approximately 76% of the tours we compare (roughily 13 out of 17) are tagged as eco-friendly. This likely reflects the nature of walking-based sightseeing, which has a lower carbon footprint than bus or car tours. However, these tags are platform-applied and should not be confused with formal third-party certifications.
