Yes, sustainability is a notable feature of this category. Roughly half of the options we compare (47%, or 7 listings) are tagged as eco-friendly. These tours often emphasize low-impact travel methods or support local conservation efforts. If sustainable travel is a priority for your trip, filtering for this tag can help you find responsible operators.

Private tours are a significant part of the market here. About a third of the options (27%, or 4 listings) are private tours, which is higher than average for standard sightseeing trips. This means you have flexibility to customize the pace and itinerary for your specific group, though these options tend to sit at the higher end of the price spectrum.

Duration varies significantly depending on whether the tour is just a transfer or a full-day excursion. Most options last between 1.5 and 9 hours, with a median duration of about 6.5 hours. Shorter trips may focus solely on the cable car ride, while longer ones include time for hiking, dining, or visiting multiple viewpoints.

Guides are available in four main languages: English, French, Italian, and Portuguese. Since Montreux is in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, French and English are the most widely supported. If you require Italian or Portuguese, you will need to verify availability for your specific date, as not all 15 options offer every language.
