Best Montreal Photo Tours & Experiences

When comparing the 11 options we track across booking platforms, prices typically range from $105 to $365. The median price sits around $173, with most tours falling in the $149–$294 band. You will not find any free or nominal-fee listings here; these are professional services that include photographer time and editing.

The vast majority of the tours we compare are designed as private experiences. Specifically, 82% of the options (9 out of 11) are tagged as private tours. This means you will likely have your own dedicated photographer rather than sharing the session with other travelers, which is ideal for couples or families wanting personalized attention.

Inclusions vary by provider, but the most common features we see across these listings are:

• Professional Photographer: Included in roughly half of the options.
• Edited Photos: About 18% of tours explicitly include edited digital files.
• Guide: A guide is included in approximately 45% of the experiences.
• Transport: Hotel pickup and drop-off are available in about 18% of the tours.

Because only a minority include edited photos or transport, it is worth checking the specific itinerary before booking if those items are important to you.

Duration varies significantly depending on whether you want a quick snapshot or a full exploration of the city. Most sessions last between 30 minutes and 4 hours, with a median duration of 1 hour. If you are looking for a comprehensive cultural walk with plenty of stops, aim for the longer end of that spectrum.

You can book these sessions in English, French, and Spanish. Since Montreal is bilingual, English and French are widely available, while Spanish options exist for a smaller subset of providers. Always double-check the language specification when selecting a listing to ensure your photographer speaks your preferred language.

Based on how providers market their experiences, these tours are particularly popular with:

• Couples: Tagged as suitable for couples in 27% of options.
• Families: Listed as family-friendly in 27% of options.
• Solo Travelers: Available for individuals in 18% of options.

Given that most are private and focus on cultural themes, they work well for groups who want a flexible, personal itinerary rather than a rigid large-group bus tour.
