The options we compare across booking platforms generally fall between $102 and $296, with a median cost of around $194. We recommend checking the specific inclusions of each listing, as lower prices often reflect smaller group sizes or basic transportation.

Most travellers choose an experience that lasts about two days (median duration), which allows enough time to see both volcanoes without rushing. However, the available options span a wide range from short 11-hour day trips to extended three-day itineraries. If you are tight on time, look for tours explicitly tagged as "Sightseeing" or "Day Trip," though these will likely cover only one volcano.

This is a higher share than for many other regional attractions, giving you flexibility to set your own pace. Private options tend to sit at the higher end of the price band but offer personalized attention and easier coordination for groups.

Other frequent choices include standard Buses (25%) and Cars (23%). A small number of specialized tours use 4WD Jeeps for better off-road capability. Walking is included only for short segments near the crater rim.

Since roughly 68% of all options are guided tours, you should have no trouble finding a guide in your preferred language. When filtering results, check the language tag carefully, as some budget options may only provide written materials in multiple languages.
