Best Rated Grand Canyon Day Trips from LA

When comparing options across booking platforms, prices generally fall between $577 and $1,202, with a median price of around $733. Most full-day or multi-day sightseeing packages we track sit in the $684–$1,127 range. Because these are comprehensive experiences that often include transport and accommodation, they represent a significant investment compared to basic entry tickets.

The vast majority of tours we compare are categorized as Sightseeing Tours focused on Nature themes. About half also incorporate Adventure elements, while roughly 40% blend in City Tour components. This means you can expect guided views of the landscape rather than purely urban exploration or extreme sports activities.

These are typically multi-day experiences. The duration usually ranges from about 2.8 to 6 days, with a median length of 4 days. While most options are Group Tours (90%), only 20% are explicitly labeled Multi-Day, suggesting that some shorter day-trip variants exist but are less common in this specific category.

Inclusions vary by provider, but here is what is commonly covered in the options we compare:

• Transportation Included: Found in roughly 40% of tours.
• Entry Ticket Included: Offered by about 30% of operators.
• Hotel Accommodation: Included in approximately 30% of packages.

It is important to check your specific listing, as not all these elements are bundled together.

Ground transportation is the primary mode, with Bus travel featured in 80% of the options we compare. A smaller subset of tours (about 30%) includes Helicopter rides for aerial views. You will rarely find walking-only itineraries in this specific multi-day category.

Flexibility is limited in this category. Only 2 out of the 10 tour options we compare offer free cancellation. Since this represents just 20% of the available choices, it is wise to book early if you need flexibility, as most other providers likely have stricter refund policies.
